Nana, Brigadier General Albert Kabenlah Adu (Rtd), (PhD), is a seasoned security analyst, a soccer enthusiast, and a lecturer in Qualitative Research Methods at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College. In addition to his over three decades of experience in the military service both home and, in the international peacekeeping space he is also an academia and has made significant contributions in both academia and both internal/international peace support operation space.

Nana, Brigadier General Albert Kabenlah Adu (Rtd), (PhD), is a seasoned security analyst, a soccer enthusiast, and a lecturer in Qualitative Research Methods at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College. In addition to his over three decades of experience in the military service both home and, in the international peacekeeping space he is also an academia and has made significant contributions in both academia and both internal/international peace support operation space.

With his background as an Intelligence Officer and academician while serving in the Ghana Armed Forces, he played influential roles in training both officers and men in Ghana Armed Forces. He served in various capacities from the tactical to the strategic command levels. He was instrumental in the collection of information and analysing same for strategic planning purposes for decision-making at the highest military command level. General Adu's involvement extends beyond institutional military realms into crucial national and international peacekeeping initiatives.

During his over 35 years' service in the Ghana Armed Forces, he played pivotal roles in investigating high profile indiscipline and fraud cases as a member of the Western Regional Investigation Committee in the region. Additionally, as the Director General of the Ghana Armed Forces Defence Intelligence Department, which made him an automatic member of the National Security Council, he successfully handled very high-profile investigation cases with other members of the Council. Internally, as a peacekeeper, Nana, Dr, Brigadier General Adu (Rtd), then the Commanding Officer of the 6 Infantry Battalion in Tamale, was instrumental in bringing peace to the Northern Region of Ghana during the Dagbon crises in the early 2020s.

On the international front, he contributed in bringing peace to so many countries, particularly, in ECOMOG as the first Ghanaian Intelligence officer for the first Ghanaian battalion deployed at the battle front. Other international peace support operations he participated in include, operations in Cambodia, Rwanda during the genocide, Lebanon, Chad, and Sudan where he was the Chief of Operations for the entire 22,000 force.

In the academic space, Brigadier General Adu (Rtd), (PhD), was a member of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College Academic Board and currently a lecturer, and a researcher in this same institution. He has published in the African Journal of Defence, Security and Strategy, vol 4, Aug, 2024 on "How to resolve the Galamsey problem in Ghana from a cultural-historical public policy-making approach". His extensive military experience in security analysis, training, sports and a lecturer in Research Methods have made him a key figure in addressing administration and security issues including policy formulation both locally and internationally.

Nana, Brigadier General Albert Kabenlah Adu (Rtd), is the current Board Chairman of Jomoro Rural Bank Plc.

Col Dominic Buah is currently the Chief Instructor of Academic Studies at JD. He was enlisted into the Ghana Military Academy on 15 October 1998 as a member of Regular Career Course Intake 40. He later proceeded to the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst in the United Kingdom after which training, he was commissioned into the Ghana Armed Forces and posted to the Armoured Corps.

Col Buah has since attended and excelled in all military career courses commensurate with his rank. Notable among such courses include:

• the Young Officers' Course (YOs), Junior Command and Staff Course, Combat Team Commanders' Course and the Senior Command and Staff Course, all in Ghana.
• the Advanced Command and Staff Course at the Joint Services Command and Staff College at Shrivenham, United Kingdom.
• Tactical Ops Staff Course and Info Management in PSO Course at KAIPTC.

Academically, Col Dominic Buah holds a Master of Science degree in Defence and International Politics from GIMPA as well as Master of Arts in Defence Studies from King's College, London, UK. He also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (HR) from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from GIMPA. He also has an Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, UK.

Col. Buah has previously served as Troop Leader in Armoured Recce Regiment and 2 Independent Recce Sqn, Platoon Comd, GSOIII, Staff Captain and Instructor of the Ghana Military Academy. Officer Commanding 1 and 2 Recce Squadrons as well as the 3 Mtd Sqn.

He was also appointed Directing Staff at both the Jnr and Snr Divs of GAFCSC and a Commanding Officer of the Armour Training School of Ghana Army.

Col Buah also served in UN Peace Support Operations in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, and as Military Observer at Abyei and DR Congo.

Ernest Nyaaku is the immediate past Head of Learning and Development at Absa Bank Ghana Ltd, formerly Barclays Bank Ghana Ltd.

He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and BSc in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and SHRM.

Ernest had over 36 years' experience in Banking and Human Resource Management and several years' experience in strategy formulation, implementation and monitoring. He also worked with Société General Ghana as the Resourcing and Training Manager.

He has high expertise in the following areas:

• Strategic Management

Ernest has been leading in strategy formulation and implementation in Absa Bank Ghana, companies like GTP and the VLISCO group, as well as several Rural and Community Banks in Ghana.

• Leadership and Management Development

Ernest is a Leadership Development expert and has a wide range of experience in Training Design and Delivery of Leadership programs, Soft Skills and some areas under Banking Operations.

• Performance Management

Managed Absa Bank's Performance Development system and instituted a world classs Performance Management system for Amenfiman, Feaseman, Kumawuman, Manya Krobo, Odotobri, Akuapem, La Community, Asawinso, Ahantaman, Nsoatreman, and Ankobra West Rural Banks among others in Ghana.

• Talent Management

Was responsible for Talent Management in Absa Bank, GTP and the Vlisco group and a number of Rural and Community Banks in Ghana.

• Performance Consultant

As a performance Consultant, Ernest has supported many organizations to institute organizational Structural changes aimed at improving both individual and organizational performance. He has run various Masterclasses in Ghana and other African Countries.
